We are 100% chemical and drug-free in all of our hive operations, nor do we heat treat or pasteurize our honey. We prefer to pack it in as near to the way it came from the hive as possible, just as the bees' intended. Because of this our clear honeys may granulate, however, this is not a problem or sign of fault, but a further sign of our honey's natural quality. Should you prefer to return the honey to a clear, liquid state then simply warm it gently.
About Honey
Honey is made by bees from the nectar they collect from flowers. Viscous and fragrant, it's a natural sweetener and can be used just as it is to spread on bread or toast, or added to sweet and savory dishes.
Availability
All year round.
Choose the best
Each variety of honey has characteristics that make that each one unique. Some of the main characteristics are color, granulation, moisture content, Levlose (fructose sugars) levels and Dextrose (glucose sugars) levels. Honey color is always graded with a number. A low number indicates a light color and the higher the number the darker the honey.
Store it
In a tightly sealed container in a cool, dark place for up to a year. Comb and cut comb honey will last for around six months.
